Playing in the high chair

After Simon's dinner, Erinn filled up his tray with water so he could splash around a bit. What ensued was a mess. A fun and happy mess.

Sea World

We got a pair of comps to Sea World from work that had to be used before Jan 1st, so we drove down to San Antonio a couple of weeks ago. For me, the highlight was the burger at Chris Madrids before we arrived.

Simon's enthusiasm for dolphins is in the 5th percentile for kids his age.

Christmas Day

After Christmas morning at my parents' house, we had Erinn's side over to our place. George made gumbo.

Christmas Morning

Simon got us up all nice and early. Not because he knew Santa came, but because he's seven-and-a-half months old and that's his thing. Erinn and I asked Santa for a full night's sleep, but alas, he didn't deliver.

Simon opens his first gift. Predictably, he's more interested in the tag and wrapping paper.

Thomas the Train immediately gets a taste test.

Callie doesn't care.
